School Round

On September 19, 2008 there was a School round of Moot Court at Royal University of Law and Economics. There were 4 Judges whom 2 from Harvard Law school, 1 is lawyer from Canada, 1 is lawyer from New Zealand, 1 is judge from ECCC.

This will be the first time a Cambodian team has entered the Jessup. We are the national law school for Cambodia and unfortunately are operating on a very small budget as government resources are stretched very thin. The particular branch of RULE that will be sending the team is the English Language Based Bachelor of Law (ELBBL). We draw on teachers who are practicing attorneys, staff of rule of law programs, and most recently attorneys and consultants at the Khmer Rogue Tribunal. It well may be that some of advisors may only work with us for a few months before returning home or going on to another assignment.
